This month we held our first ever free workshop inviting the great and good from businesses around Gloucestershire and beyond. With attendees from Leamington Spa and Bristol attending, our event was not only a huge success but was over-attended. A great problem to have, clearly film and distribution strategy is a key topic of interest in todays world. The evening was kicked off by our Managing Director Oliver Bruce with keynote speeches following.
Kirsty Spencer, Managing Director of Sonder spoke about the collaborative approach toward film and distribution PinPontMedia and Sonder have shared over the last 18 months, showcasing samples from a recent project undertaken for the British Heart Foundation collaboratively.
Felicity McClintock, Head of Marketing for Willans LLP discussed and showcased work PinPointMedia produced for the firm in 2017 and why/what inspired her to return for more work in 2019.
Fergus Bruce, Projects and Operations Director and Max Evans Project Manager for PinPointMedia later spoke about how to go about producing film and animation content and the facts and figures surrounding why this medium is so fundamental in todays world. Did you know, come 2020 most people will spend over 80 minutes a day watching video!?
The evening was brought to a close by Malaney Varaljay-Boyce of Winsnon’s Wish, a charity PinPointMedia take a huge amount of passion in supporting.
With nearly 60 attendees and a number of questions being asked we are now considering what our next event of interest will be. If you were unable to attend or attended and wish for more information, slides and/or films shows on the evening, please email email@example.com
